Brett and I are passionate about the concept of having a network for couples in business. While there seem to be a lot of coaches, consultants, and journalists focused on the topic, the couples themselves seem reluctant to step forward.

We wonder why that is. There are a lot of resources available from professionals and other couples that could provide their expertise. The family business associations definitely have some value. Yet copreneurs (couples in business) have different challenges from that crowd.

While we continue to research and find the best ways to serve this market, we will use this blog to post our personal ideas, advice, and questions about being a successful couple (in business and life). We welcome your comments and ideas also.

Lastly, we are interested in interviewing successful copreneurs who would like to share information on their journeys. We would post these interviews on our blog periodically.

Our goal is to become a one-stop-shop for couples in business. Have a great weekend!

We’re doing another relaunch of the National Copreneur Society and retitling it the Couples in Business Network. Here are some of the key changes:

Make it more interactive and social and less like a traditional association

Extend participation to couples, coaches, and consultants outside of the United States

Act as a “one-stop-shop” resource for all things related to being a copreneur

Provide regular events from experts on couples in business

Of course, we have our own ideas for developing the Network. But, we want to hear from you.

We would love your feedback on what you would like to see. What do copreneurs want out of a network? What resources have you not been able to find anywhere else?
