About the National Copreneur Society

The National Copreneur Society provides existing and future entrepreneurial couples with business and personal relationship skills and networking opportunities to start, grow, sustain, and succeed in their unique businesses.

Our Mission: To strengthen the entrepreneurial couple (copreneur) relationship in life and business.

Our Vision: To provide a responsive, robust support network and services for a diverse group of entrepreneurial couples on national, regional, and local levels.

We welcome husband-and-wife teams, those who are dating, and same-sex couples.

History

The concept for the National Copreneur Society (NCS) started in 2006 with Brett Johnson & Leila Johnson. Together, they own and manage Data-Scribe®, a technology & communications company based in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, USA. After working together since 2003 and meeting other entrepreneurial couples, they realized that, well, there's just something "different" about being a couple AND being entrepreneurs. The joys and the challenges really aren't discussed in other business or couple networking groups.

Brett & Leila decided to start this Society to celebrate and support entrepreneurial couples (copreneurs). Brett serves as Board Chair and Leila serves as Executive Director of the Society.

Membership

NCS classifies a couple as those who are dating, married, or same-sex couples. NCS members can be current entrepreneurial couples or those who are interested in starting a business together. In addition, the Society welcomes those who provide products or services in support of copreneurship.

How You Can Participate

Currently, Brett and Leila are getting the word out about the organization, the Copreneur Camp, and working on building the board. They are seeking volunteers who are committed to the cause and might be interested in becoming board members or participating in other ways.

The National Copreneur Society is a nonprofit corporation registered in New Mexico (NM PRC# 2898393
